WELCOME TO THE VILLAGE

You already brought something with you.

A vision you can’t quite leave alone. A question that keeps returning. A life, business, family, community, or possibility you can see, even if you don’t know exactly how to reach it yet.
Butterfly Rose Village exists in the space between what you can imagine and what it will require to build.
Here, we help people uncover what they’re carrying, understand what it requires, and build the knowledge, structure, support, and capacity underneath it.
Different dreams require different kinds of support. So there are different paths through the Village.

FIND YOUR PATH

Where are you headed?
Each part of Butterfly Rose Village was built to support a different kind of becoming. Follow the path that meets what you’re carrying now.

Creative Studio

For founders building a business or brand that needs a world sturdy enough to hold it.

Bring the tangled ideas, the growing body of work, the decisions that keep reopening, or the vision that has outgrown the structure around it.

Inside the Creative Studio, we use creative direction to uncover what you are building, create the architecture underneath it, and help the work grow with greater coherence, direction, and capacity.

Doula House

For doulas, families, and community members strengthening the circles of care around birth and early parenthood.

Come here for doula training and professional development, education and support through fertility, pregnancy, birth, postpartum, and early parenthood, and guidance for partners, relatives, and community members who want to better support someone through those seasons.

Whether you are preparing for your own transition, wanting to become or deepen your skills as a doula, or learning how to become part of someone’s circle of support, the Doula House is a place to learn, gather, and carry that care forward.

WHAT WE BUILD FROM

We believe in possibility.

There are things we notice that don’t quite leave us alone.
A dream. An idea. Someone who deserves better. Something missing. A way of living, working, caring, creating, or being together that we can almost see.
Sometimes we know exactly what we want to do.

Sometimes all we know is:
This could be different.

And the path toward that vision can still feel foggy. Far away. Hard to see clearly from where we are standing.

This is where we begin. We journey with you.

Butterfly Rose Village helps put something underneath what you can see. Knowledge. Support. Structure. Resources. Clarity. Whatever helps create enough foundation and capacity for you to act on what has been calling you forward.

And we care about what happens after that.

A founder can build a business that creates opportunity and impact far beyond themselves.
A doula who has enough support to stay in the work can change the experiences of hundreds of families.

A family can make choices around birth and parenting that alter what their children inherit.
An idea shared in one conversation can find its way into another room entirely.

One person’s capacity can change what becomes possible for someone else.
That’s the ripple underneath Butterfly Rose Village.

THE VILLAGE AT WORK

What we believe should leave evidence.

Hi, I’m Quanisha

Your Village Guide

I see the connections other people miss.

I’m the founder, Creative Director, full-spectrum doula, and doula trainer of Butterfly Rose Village.

My work has moved through writing, birth and postpartum support, doula education, maternal health advocacy, organizational leadership, and creative direction, but the instinct underneath it has stayed remarkably consistent.

I notice the gaps, the patterns, the pieces that belong together, and what people may need underneath them to move forward with more clarity and support.

Butterfly Rose Village grew from that way of seeing.
It is where I bring together the different parts of my work without asking them to compete, and where I help founders, families, doulas, and organizations build toward what they can already imagine.

Pull up a seat. We saved you something interesting.

Once a month, we bring a few things to the table: what we’re reading, listening to, questioning, building, learning, and noticing around Butterfly Rose Village.

There may be a book we can’t stop thinking about, a person doing something worth knowing about, a practice to try, a question we haven’t finished answering, or a glimpse of what’s taking shape around the Village.

Take what interests you. Carry something back to your own table.
